Parking in the center of Amersfoort

Did you know that Amersfoort’s city center is a low-traffic zone? Be sure to take the right streets when driving in. During peak times, the parking garages in the heart of downtown often fill up quickly. Fortunately, there are good alternatives just outside the Stadsring. For example, park at Asch van Wijck (about a 7-minute walk), Centrum Mondriaan (about an 8-minute walk), Oppidium (about a 9-minute walk), or Eemplein (about a 10-minute walk). This way, you’ll still reach the city center quickly, and you’ll often have a better chance of finding an available parking spot.

Are you heading out of town by train? You can park near Amersfoort Centraal at Garage Argonaut or Q-Park Barchman Wuytierslaan, for example. Below is an overview of parking garages and rates:

  • Rent a bike

At the station you can rent an OV bike. There are also plenty of options in the city center.
