Fancy a local beer, tasty sandwich, exclusive cocktail or a complete surprise dinner? In the museum quarter you can go from early morning until late at night. So during a day full of cultural wonder, make sure the inner man is well fed too.

De Drie Ringen

At the small city brewery De Drie Ringen you taste real Amersfoort beers. Drink it outside by the water with a view of de Koppelpoort on one side and museum Flehite on the other. While you enjoy watching the people passing by. Want to know more about the brewery? Book a tour or tasting.

Amersfoorts D.I.E.P.

Rightfully a studio, because what they make here is simply art! Everything is freshly prepared and made with love here at Amersfoorts D.I.E.P. Buy a broodje to go or slide in and stay for lunch. Tip from us: the pastel del nata really fly over the counter like hot cakes. Want those? Come on time.

Dinner @ WestSingel and Cocktails @ WestWing

After a day of browsing around the museum district, you can have a wonderful dinner at WestSingel. I would have loved to tell you exactly what you can eat here, but I can't. Because they have a surprise menu based on the seasons. Of course, you can always pass on allergies and other dietary requirements. I can promise you that it is delicious. Oh, and don't tell anyone, there's a secret cocktail bar somewhere around here called WestWing. To get there, you must first find the door and know the access code. So reservations are necessary. Once inside, you'll never want to leave, because it's a hell of a cozy place. And exclusive, too.

Mayor Brewer Plantation

To put in your calendar in advance. Every year the Burgemeester Brouwerplantsoen hosts some of the most visited events in Amersfoort. The legendary Lepeltje Lepeltje, which also performs a Lokaal edition and the always fun activities on Koningsdag. Because culture, that's what you experience with all your senses.

Dara

At Dara you can relax on the terrace on the Eemhaven, but there is also a warm, cozy atmosphere inside. Dara has a nice menu of traditional and modern dishes. Tapas, anti-pasti or starters? Dara calls it mezzes. A nice amount with particularly delicious smell and taste combinations.
