The Veerensmederij is Holland Opera's home theatre. Holland Opera plays an annual opera for the whole family during the Christmas vacations. In addition, thousands of children visit the performances and workshops in school.
Muziektheater de Veerensmederij often programs theme weekends in collaboration with other venues, such as Children's Music Week; Autumn Pieces and Spring Outings where they collaborate with Flint and theatre de Lieve Vrouw, as well as with the Utrecht Theatre, theatre Kikker, Podium Hoge Woerd, theatre aan de Slinger and Library Theatre Utrecht.
Ensembles such as Pynarello and the Ragazze Quartet with the Festival September Me are regular guests at the Veerensmederij.
