Galgenberg
Next to the parking lot near the watertoren, a mound is visible (47.6 m+NAP). During an excavation in 1927, a triangular foundation was found on which there were three columns. The bodies of criminals were hung from the structure for deterrence. The executions were carried out at the Hof in Amersfoort.
