Guided Tour: Introduction to Amorfortia

Discover the history of Amersfoort through about twelve special objects and paintings from the Amorfortia exhibition. Together, we’ll journey through the centuries: from the growth of the medieval city and pilgrims to governance, art, local heroes, Napoleon, and the liberation.

During the tour, we’ll look at the exhibits together. What catches your eye? What story does a painting or object tell? And what will you learn about Amersfoort and the people who lived there?

Your guide, Henriëtte, will share insights, ask questions, and invite you to observe and reflect for yourself. Step by step, you’ll discover more about the history of Amersfoort.
