How do you play padel?
Padel is similar to tennis and squash. One difference is that a padel court is smaller than a tennis court and has no walls, but a fence of glass and fencing. The rules of padel are especially similar to those of tennis: the ball must be hit over the net and into the opponents' box.
Playing poker in Amersfoort
In Amersfoort you can play padel at padel33, Club Pellikaan Amersfoort and LTC Vathorst. Padel33 is the largest padel club in Amersfoort. This club has six outdoor courts in the Schothorsterpark and you can sign up for clinics, lessons and tournaments.
Suus Stalenhoef (19) has been playing padel at Padel33 for a while now. She says it is ideal to clear her head after a busy school day. "I often go padel with friends on Tuesday evenings. It's great exercise and fun! Afterwards we often have a drink at the club," says Suus.
