Want to actively discover Amersfoort and learn something in the process? During a city walk of the Gilde you see the city with different eyes. Join the textile walk Schering en inslag and immerse yourself in the rich history, followed by a creative cotton printing workshop at the Katoendrukkerij. Or choose the proverbial walk for your own amusement, where old cows are pulled out of ditches and pins are fished out of haystacks. This way you see the city just a little differently.

Feel like exploring the region in a relaxed way? Step with your bike on de Eemlijn and let yourself sail along the most beautiful places. The boat sails towards Spakenburg and Huizen, stopping along the way in places such as Baarn, Soest and Eemdijk. Up on deck, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Eempolders and the Gooi. And don't have a bike yet? You can easily rent one at FunEvent. All hands on deck!
