Visit de Koppelpoort
During a city walk organized by the Gilde, a visit to the Koppelpoort is always an option: both on and inside the nearly 600-year-old water gate. Would you prefer just a short guided tour of this iconic monument? That’s now possible too! From October 1 through December 1, the Gilde will open de Koppelpoort on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
Carillon CLIMMING
You can regularly climb the Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren with a guide from the Gilde. Does climbing 346 steps sound like music to your ears? Then you should go on Saturday afternoon! In addition to a stunning view, you’ll also get to enjoy the artistry of the carillonneur on duty that day. A truly special experience! Maybe there’s even room for a song request!

During this tour, you’ll discover everything about Amersfoort’s rich beer history! This walking tour organized by the Gilde is definitely fun, but the end of the tour might be even more enjoyable: it ends at the city brewery De Drie Ringen.
