Marathon Amersfoort

The Marathon Amersfoort has been on the sports calendar since 2009 and gets thousands of Amersfoorters moving. The route of the marathon passes the river Eem, the historic center and the green suburbs of Amersfoort, so you get to see all the special places in Amersfoort. Get your running shoes out of the closet and run!

Marathon (42 km): As of 2023, the marathon has been separated from the main program. The 42 km will now be organized on the Saturday before the event as a training lap. Registration for this will be possible starting in February.

Half Marathon (21 km): This is the main race of the event, divided into two rounds of 10.5 km. The course leads you through the historic center and green suburbs of Amersfoort.

Mini-Marathons: There are special 1.1 km and 2.2 km routes for children. The 1.1 km is ideal for young children, while the 2.2 km is suitable for slightly older participants. And is Free!
5 km Run: The 5 km is perfect for beginning runners or those who want to run a shorter distance but still experience the atmosphere of a big event.
10 km Run: The 10 km is ideal for runners looking for more of a challenge than the 5 km, but not yet ready for the half marathon.

5 km Walk: The 5 km walk is a leisurely walking route that leads through the city. It is perfect for participants looking for an active but less intense way to exercise.
15 km Walk: For walkers looking to cover a longer distance, the 15 km walk is an excellent choice.
25 km Walk: The 25 km walk is ideal for walkers looking for a longer and challenging run. Along the way, you will be supported by refreshment stations and enjoy the energy provided by the music along the route. This is the perfect opportunity to push your limits and enjoy an athletic experience in a friendly atmosphere
