The Butterfly Garden | Jericho

The butterfly garden is a low-lying flower meadow that attracts butterflies, bees and other insects. Nearby is a toad pool and an elevation with benches offers a view of the confluence of the Old Eem and the Valley Canal. A bat bunker was originally planned here, but it was never realized. The original design of the area has been partially lost due to overdue maintenance, but the garden remains a colorful and peaceful place. It combines nature experience with education and is a valuable part of the city park at Jericho.
