Wind corn mill"Den Olden Florus " is a standerd mill, which can be counted as one of the oldest mill types. This is especially evident in the construction of the so-called tail. The mill used to be called the "Callenbroecker mill" because it is located in the hamlet of Kallenbroek. The name Kallenbroek is probably derived from the fact that a water was situated there (broek) and that this water was always colder (kalt) than in other places.

You are welcome to visit the store of Den Olden Florus every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.. It is located at the bottom of the mill. Come taste the products and enjoy the authentic atmosphere.

The store is run by a group of enthusiastic women from Barneveld. Every Saturday there are two of them in the store to help the customers.
