When you turn from the city center from the Havik toward the Eemhaven, you see Grote en Kleine Spui to the left and right overlooking the land and water gate de Koppelpoort. The gate dates from about 1400 and is part of the city's second enclosure.

From de Koppelpoort on one side you have a nice view towards the city, Museum Flehite and the Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren and on the other side you have a view of the Eemhaven.

On the Kleine Spui number 18 you will find Bierbrouwerij de Drie Ringen and on the Grote Spui number 11 you will see the Dutch Carillon School, next to Mechelen the only school in the world where carillonneurs are trained.
