Grote en Kleine Spui
When you turn from the city center from the Havik toward the Eemhaven, you see Grote en Kleine Spui to the left and right overlooking the land and water gate de Koppelpoort. The gate dates from about 1400 and is part of the city's second enclosure.
From de Koppelpoort , you have a beautiful view of the city, Museum Amersfoort, and the Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren on one side, and a view of the Eemhaven on the other.
On the Kleine Spui number 18 you will find Bierbrouwerij de Drie Ringen and on the Grote Spui number 11 you will see the Dutch Carillon School, next to Mechelen the only school in the world where carillonneurs are trained.
