Tank Barrage Highland Road
This tank barrier from 1940 is one of the best preserved fighting vehicle obstacles of the Grebbelinie. The avenue of trees still shows how the Hooglandse Straatweg, which disappeared here, originally ran towards the center of Amersfoort. In the mobilization period, the road could be partially or completely closed with asparagus. These were profiled steel beams secured in a concrete bedding.
