Phuong, owner and head chef of Ninh Binh , was born in northern Vietnam. From there, she fled communism and moved to southern Vietnam. During her travels through Vietnam, she encountered a wide variety of flavors. There, she was able to combine the different cooking techniques of northern, central, and southern Vietnam to create the dishes now served at Ninh Binh.
The name is a tribute to her parents and a reminder of where her family comes from.
Taste, smell and enjoy the pure flavors Phuong uses in her food! We hope to win you over with fresh, honest and above all authentic Vietnamese food.
