Park Schothorst
Take a look in advance
Park Schothorst offers plenty of space for sports, fun, and nature. In the center of the city park are activities that place greater emphasis on nature, such as community gardens, nature education, and nature-based recreation. Along the edges of the park, paths have been created for more intensive recreational activities such as sports and skating.
The Schothorst country estate was created in 1780. In the mid-19th century, a landscape park was created with a manor house, coach house and an orangery. A building in an English Landscape style. The current estate has a forest area, swamp, nature playground, lake, grasslands, avenues and fields. So plenty to see!
Park Schothorst is also home to various sports clubs, such as Atletiekvereniging Altis, the Ckv Mia Korfball Club, and the Padel Club Padel33.
