Originally, a Roman Catholic shelter church stood on this site. In 1816, the present church building was designed by architect F. Wittenberg of Zutphen. A major restoration was completed in 1982, where the interior was restored to its former state.
Come look around and experience the silence in this century-old church with renovated Marian chapel. Every Saturday the church is open between 11:00 and 15:00. Sandwatchers will be present to give you further information and answer any questions.
On Saturdays, starting at 11:30 a.m., opportunity is given to musicians for presenting themselves, which often culminates in a small concert.
