In the middle of the Jerusalem neighborhood stands a transformer house that received a striking metamorphosis in 2017. Thanks to the efforts of residents, it was painted by graffiti artist Daniël van de Haterd (aka 13Hoog). He chose a historical scene of the Grebbelinie: soldiers pulling their guns through the flooded land of the Asschatterkom in 1939. The artwork, along with an information panel, connects the neighborhood to Amersfoort's military history. Where the little house was once an eyesore, it now forms a colorful symbol of cooperation and remembrance.
