From friend to adversary

In an inn on the Zompige Heide, Jochem and Gustav meet each other. Gustav is on his way to his great love and tells about his travels. Jochem helps him across the dangerous moor. Years later Gustav returns, but not as the same man.

All for gold

Gustav is now Baron Hooghmoed and completely under the spell of the gold that lies deep in the Zompige Heide. Blinded by his quest, he puts everything aside: his love, nature and the people around him. Will Jochem realize in time that it is up to him to protect his village and the heathland?
