In the very last hour of every year, the legendary Drakenstier appears. Each year, a group of creative minds from Amersfoort gets the unique opportunity to design this magical countdown moment. This year, you’ll be swept up in an impressive show by local creators Sven Alkema and Stan Bekker. Get ready for an experience filled with fire, smoke, and surprising effects, where fantasy and reality blend seamlessly.

Starting at 10:00 p.m., you’re welcome at the “ Hof ” for a performance by Luna Maki. This eight-piece band from Amersfoort guarantees a show full of rhythm, atmosphere, and movement.

After the countdown, DJ Jay Wood will spin an energetic mix of groovy tunes and high-energy beats until 1:00 a.m., guided by just one rule: “It’s got to be danceable!” This local DJ can’t wait to put together an amazing set and turn it into a party with everyone on the city’s biggest dance floor!

New Year’s Day

On New Year’s Day, you can relive the magical countdown three times. It’s a program for young and old alike. Didn’t make it on New Year’s Eve? Then come with your family, friends, and neighbors to watch and dance on the first day of the new year!
