Sessions
Take a look in advance
In this physical and rhythmic performance, choreographer Donna Chittick translates the energy of the hip-hop battle into a story about doubt, identity and the feeling of having to prove yourself over and over again. Sessions is an ode to self-taught creators, MBO graduates and anyone who has taken a different route and does not always feel recognized in it. Not a battle to win, but a search for your place and for the space to occupy it. At Sessions, music is not only heard, but also felt. For deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors, vibrating belts are available: wearable devices you wear around the waist that convert music into vibrations. In this way the rhythm and energy of the performance can be physically experienced.
