Pynarello | Romani!

In Romani! Pynarello follows a musical route from India via the Middle East to Europe. Along the way you will hear how music mixes, changes and takes on ever new forms.

The journey begins at the roots of Romani culture and travels through various regions to Europe. Everywhere the Romani came where events calender occurred. This can be heard in the music, which constantly picks up new colors and influences along the way.

Alongside traditional Roma music you will hear works by Telemann. He was inspired by the fiery playing style of the Romani and incorporated these influences into his compositions, which take on a different meaning here.

Together with Vasile Nedea (cimbalom, accordion), Niti Ranjan Biswas (tabla) and Faifie Reinhardt (guitar), Pynarello brings a program full of rhythm, improvisation and different musical traditions.
