Where Club Invites once began as a stage for new talent, the program has since grown into a place for longer-term development. For its sixth edition, Club Guy & Roni invites choreographer Mohamed Yusuf Boss - who also managed to impress in De Lieve Vrouw last season with his own performance Xanuun. In addition to his new work (think a mix of contemporary, urban, hip-hop and African dance forms), the dancers will also present FREIHEIT, a Guy & Roni performance originally developed in collaboration with tanzmainz.
In this double bill, two artistic trajectories meet: a new chapter by a returning creator, and a work born out of international collaboration. Thus Club Invites remains a place where development, events calender and curiosity - for creators, dancers and audiences.
