The performance in brief
In HUGS, two strangers try to become friends while constantly attracting and repelling each other.
Closer and closer
He prefers to sit on de bank, she has her dog. At first sight they have little in common, but slowly they get closer. Sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes funny and sometimes things go surprisingly well. After all, making friends is not always easy.
Without words
With beats, movement and imagery, a playful world full of weird moves, crooked turns and small collisions is created. Hannes d'Hoine's music pulls everything along and sets the characters in motion again and again. A playful performance about loneliness, making contact and friendship.
