Take a look in advance

Marie-Lou, director of a nursing home in Paris, is trying to break with convention using an innovative care method. She encounters fierce resistance from her team, who believe that placing the residents’ wishes and dignity at the absolute center of care is not feasible. Marie-Lou’s life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Mari, a Japanese theatre director battling cancer. As a close friendship develops between the two women, they join forces in the struggle to make the impossible possible.

We’ll be showing this film without an intermission, so given the film’s length, we recommend planning a bathroom break before it starts.
