This exhibition shows that the Psalms 'BY HIGH and BY LOW' can give much strength and support in one's life. All the paintings and texts next to the works are by Anneke's hand.

In this exhibition we see remarkably many Psalms that have been of support and encouragement to her, even though she had painted a series on the Psalms before. This shows again that the Psalms can give much strength and support in one's life. The texts next to the works are also by Anneke's hand.

Biography
Anneke Kaai-van Wijngaarden (1951), after a classical education at the Gooi Academy of Visual Arts, studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Her paintings are an expression of her life in relationship with God. She has painted nine series on the Bible and all these artworks have been published in book form in different languages.

Annekes her style is symbolically abstract, later her work sometimes became more expressionistic in nature. The paintings are painted with acrylic paint on Plexiglas. She uses different structures and layers in the paint to depict the atmosphere of her feelings. She exhibited widely in our country and in Europe. Even now she often gets the opportunity to show people her works of art. For example, she held several presentations in the USA (last time February 2026) and in South Africa.
