Take a look in advance
As old wounds are reopened, Mesut is plagued by disturbing visions. He regards them as divine warnings and begins to question his brother’s leadership. Religious beliefs, power struggles, and tensions run high within the community.
In *Salvation*, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Berlinale, director rauw blends realism with dreamlike imagery, while one brother’s spiritual quest (or is it a psychosis?) undermines the other’s power.
A stunning film with a clear political message, all the more relevant in light of recent events in Turkey.
