ART Ensemble | Bach & Breakfast

The ART ensemble is a contrasting, challenging and inspiring trio consisting of Laura Hölzenspies (piano), Karin Jochems (flute) and Margreet Niks (flute). On Sunday, Oct. 5, the ensemble will play a varied program with works by Beethoven, Saint-Saëns and Debussy, among others.

Margreet studied with Abbie de Quant in Utrecht and Pierre-Yves Artaud in Paris. She obtained her diploma as Performing Musician with distinction. She then studied with Jacques Zoon in Boston and Berlin. As a freelancer Margreet plays with almost all major Dutch orchestras and with contemporary ensembles such as Nieuw Ensemble and Insomnio. After the strange year 2020, to her own surprise and pleasure, she combines the music life with two working days in healthcare.
