Spraakmakers is a traveling concert series that connects classical music to today's world. During this theatrical evening, top Dutch actors and top ensembles forge tantalizing stories and matching classical music works into a new narrative. Told and played simultaneously, as one theatrical musical story.

In this new, special edition of Spraakmakers, renowned Belgian actor Jan Decleir and top actress Georgina Verbaan combine their voices with the music of the Dudok Quartet and pianist Hannes Minnaar. Together they bring - in one evening - two current and stimulating stories about life's fears (Georgina Verbaan) and hereditary kingship (Jan Decleir). The stories feed music and the music the stories. Thus Speechmakers makes music from long ago sound relevant again in today's world.
