Huis ten Halve
This is the site of the former old inn Huis ten Halve. With the construction of the Postweg in the 17th century, a tavern soon arose on the Straatweg: the Huis ten Halve, halfway between Amsterdam and Arnhem. In 1947 it was used for a Catholic Military Home and between 1967 and 1971 it served as an academy for circus Toni Boltini. The building was destroyed by fire in 1980.
