Imagine a couple, Lara and Piero, on a first date dinner at her home. He arrives with a good bottle of wine; she has prepared her signature dish. There is initial awkwardness, polite smalltalk, attempts to impress, insecurities and the excitement of a first meeting. How does that work out next? How many aspects of our character do we have to consider during the encounter. How many inner battles take place in our minds when that decision is uncomfortable, complicated, unsettling or risky? This is the premise of this comedy, which aims to explore and depict the inner conflicts we face when making decisions that can make our lives either wonderful or unbearable: romantic decisions.
