Summer school: Themed Week Portrait

This creative summer week with the theme of portrait is suitable for brave beginners and curious advanced in drawing and painting. The variety of techniques allows you to explore where your own strengths lie.

This portrait week is structured using drawing and painting techniques. At the beginning of the week you will learn to draw a portrait with pencil and charcoal and carefully start using paint. In the second half of the week you will continue to work with acrylic paint to create a portrait and explore the effect of color and tonal values in your portrait. On Friday you will paint a portrait(s) in a manner of your own choosing. Saturday morning you will learn from Pop-art to add a new method to your drawing and painting techniques.
