In Meeuw a family comes together in a vacation home, where desires, jealousy and ambitions slowly rub against each other. What begins as togetherness grows into a clash between generations.

A young, ambitious writer presents her first play, starring her boyfriend. Together they want to make something new. Her father and his partner, themselves established names, cling to what is already there. One wants to move forward, the other holds back.
