¡Fiesta Cubana! The sound of Buena Vista Social Club

On Thursday, July 2, 2026, Dias Latinos Festival will be festively kicked off with Noche de Dias Latinos in FLUOR. This opening night is completely dedicated to the rich musical traditions of Cuba.

This evening focuses on the characteristic sound made famous worldwide by the Buena Vista Social Club. Visitors can expect an authentic mix of son, bolero and salsa, characterized by warm vocals, melodic guitars and rhythmic percussion. The music effortlessly evokes the atmosphere of Cuban street life, combining melancholy and danceable energy.

Led by singer and musician Tomás Sotolongo Fuentes, a carefully composed group of musicians will perform a selection of well-known and lesser-known compositions from Cuban music history. The repertoire consists of songs that many will recognize, complemented by surprising gems from the island's rich musical heritage.
