As part of the 50th anniversary of the Amersfoort chapter of IVN, 15 photographers from the Nature Photography working group are exhibiting their recent work at het Groene Huis in Amersfoort.
There are 60 photographs on display, printed on aluminum in various sizes. By choosing a general, overarching theme, the exhibition showcases a wide range of photographs. From macro shots to landscape photos, from images of birds and insects to surprising shots of flowers, buds, and plants, and from vibrant colors to subdued tone-on-tone color schemes.
The group of photographers has been meeting regularly for 25 years. On the first Sunday of every month, they head out into nature, equipped with their cameras. A week later, they review the photos taken during the outing and provide constructive feedback. Their guiding principle is “Seeing and sharing the beauty and uniqueness of nature.” Photography serves as a means to enjoy nature even more and to help others do the same.
We hope that the photographers’ spark of enthusiasm and inspiration will rub off on you as you view the photos.
There’s a fun photo challenge for the kids! Get inspired and join in—pick up a photo frame at the front desk of Het Groene Huis . Then take your own nature photos with your camera.
