Belgian Dutchman Joost Zweegers, better known as Novastar, has for years been considered one of the strongest singer-songwriters in the Low Countries. His debut album 'Novastar' from 2000 immediately produced timeless pop classics such as 'Wrong' and 'The Best Is Yet To Come'. Successor 'Another Lonely Soul' also produced one of his most beloved songs with 'Never Back Down'. Since then, Novastar has built an impressive oeuvre with several successful albums, including 'In The Cold Light of Monday' and 'Holler And Shout'.

On the most recent album from 2024 "The Best Is Yet To Come," Zweegers re-recorded a selection of his most beautiful songs at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. During his concert, Novastar will bring these classics to the stage along with newer work. Expect an evening full of melancholy melodies, strong songs and the distinctive warm voice that has made Novastar a crowd favorite for years.
For the concert at Openluchttheater Bosspot, the music takes on another dimension. Under the open sky, in the middle of the theatre's greenery, Novastar's warm sounds and emotional intensity will come fully into their own. A unique opportunity to experience these songs in an intimate and special setting.
From 6 p.m. it is possible to have dinner or a bite to eat at the Open Air Theatre prior to the concert. The full menu will follow.
