Filmmaker and actress Olivia Wilde (Booksmart, Don't Worry Darling) and screenwriters Will McCormack and Rashida Jones based this razor-sharp comedy on the Spanish film Sentimental, which has already been remake in several countries. A hilarious and poignant portrait of sex, relationships and marriage, The Invite continually throws the viewer off guard. Consequently, the film received a rave reception at its world premiere at Sundance.
