Waterline Mother's Day boat trip package

An active and creative outing together with mom! Explore Amersfoort from the water. Join this fun themed boat trip 'Vestingroute met workshop katoendrukkerij', a collaboration of De Waterlijn with De Katoendrukkerij in Amersfoort.

This boat route follows the route of the second city wall, past a beautiful park and pieces of restored city wall. Along the way, also learn a little more about the city's centuries-long textile industry.

The boat route ends at the pier at the historic Koppelpoort and the Volmolen, the monument to the city's centuries of textile industry. Starting in October 2020, it will house De Katoendrukkerij . This specialized artisanal workshop uses wooden hand-engraved printing blocks to print on paper and textiles.

You will walk from the dock after the boat trip to the Volmolen where you will attend a cotton printing workshop. You will design and print a cotton bag with wooden printing blocks in 1 hour, which you will take home as a souvenir of this fun morning. The boat trip itself takes about 45 minutes.

Price € 57,75 per person all-in. Maximum 12 participants. You are expected at least ten minutes before departure at the dock in the Krommestraat .
