Monoprint is a unique printing technique in which you can make only one print from a plate. Unlike other printing techniques, such as woodcut or screen printing, where you can make several identical prints, each monoprint is a unique work of art.

How it works.

Prepare the plate: You use a smooth, non-porous plate such as glass, metal or Plexiglas.
Apply ink: Using a roller, brush or spray can, you apply ink or paint to the plate.
Creating the image: Using flowers, different tools, such as brushes, cloths or even your fingers, you create an image on the colored-in plate.
Printing: You put a sheet of paper on the colored plate and print with the etching press. This is how the image is transferred to the paper.
You will learn all that during this workshop. With a minimum of 4 students the workshop can take place. You will go home with some beautiful works of art.
