In The Wind and We, Tg. Winterberg breathes life into the picture book of the same name by Kristof Devos and Claudia Jong with few words, but all the more imagination.

What does the wind look like? Where does it go when it's not whistling past your ears? And - can you make friends with something you can't catch? Before you came, I didn't know what you would look like. How you would smell or feel or move. Branches rumbled, drummed. Leaves blow and blow; all that is the wind. And the wind brings you.

The wind brings a girl and a big, furry creature together. They play, discover, learn and protect each other. They become inseparable. But one day they are out of play, and it's time to leave again with the wind.
