Why does interacting with some people feel so confusing that you start to doubt yourself? As if you’re always the one who’s seeing things wrong and thinking, “Am I crazy?” Not just once, but over and over again. Why does interacting with some people feel so confusing that you start to doubt yourself? As if you’re always the one who’s seeing things wrong and thinking, “Am I crazy?” Not just once, but over and over again. And before you know it, you’re saying “I’m sorry,” even though your boundaries were crossed.

Narcissism is a term you hear more and more often. But what does it actually mean? And when does behavior become so subtly undermining that you slowly start to doubt yourself?

In this interactive lecture, you’ll get a clear explanation of narcissism, narcissistic abuse, and the dynamics that arise in relationships as a result. You’ll learn to recognize manipulative patterns, such as twisting words, shifting blame, and gaslighting. Gaslighting is when repeated manipulation causes you to doubt your own feelings, memories, or perceptions. Precisely because this often happens gradually, you don’t always immediately realize what’s going on. Meanwhile, it takes a lot of energy and can leave you emotionally drained.
We’ll also explore what’s happening inside you in these kinds of interactions. Why you sometimes keep searching for clarity, even when you rationally feel that something isn’t right. And what can help you find peace again, stand firmer, and, step by step, take back control of your life.

The talk is psychoeducational and practical in nature. You’ll gain insights and concrete tools where can put to use right away.

The lecture will take place in a small group of up to 25 participants. Both men and women are warmly welcome. There will be time for questions, shared experiences, and reflection in a safe and respectful setting.
