In the 1960s a visual revolution took place in France - young filmmakers experimented with a "new look," a different way of representing and telling stories. Camera and editing evolved from conduits of a story to creators of new content.

Cleo de 5 á 7

The second film in this series is Cleo de 5 á 7, by the legendary Agnes Varda - which playfully blurs the boundaries between documentary, fiction and poetic essay.

Film instructor Mark Meuldijk will accompany the film screening with an introduction and an interactive discussion afterwards. Together we watch the film and analyze the scenes afterwards.
