From July 19 through August 30, the exhibition “Seasons” by the IVN Nature Photography Working Group will be on display at Het Groene Huis in Amersfoort. The exhibition is part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the IVN Amersfoort chapter and is free and open to the public.

In the exhibition, 15 nature photographers are showcasing a total of approximately 60 works, printed on aluminum in various formats. Under the broad theme of “Seasons,” the exhibition captures the diversity of nature: from macro shots of insects and plants to sweeping landscapes and bird photographs, and from colorful spring blossoms to the subdued, moody tones of winter. For 25 years, the photographers have been meeting monthly to create and discuss their nature photography. These gatherings are guided by the motto: “Seeing and showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of nature.” By sharing feedback and inspiration, not only does the quality of their photography improve, but so does their appreciation of and enjoyment of nature.

There’s a special photo challenge for children. They can pick up a photo frame at the front desk of Het Groene Huis and head out on their own to take nature photos with their own camera.

Be inspired by the power and diversity of nature throughout the seasons. Visit the “Seasons” exhibition at Het Groene Huis and experience just how close nature and wonder can be.
