Summer school: theme week Kloostertuin

This creative summer week is suitable for those who want to stimulate and (re)discover their creativity.

The first two days you will be taken through the monastery garden by Mirjam. You will search through your hands for attractive, tactile materials. You will take these materials inside to make your first creative effort with them; the frottage technique.

Tuesday you work with your smartphone and photograph a number of places in and around the monastery. You will receive small, specific assignments. Then you will work out your ideas further with collage and frottage techniques in the studio.

On Thursday you will explore the possibilities of painting outside with Lenka and take the sky and clouds as your inspiration. On Friday, Annet will come to let you make small etchings with found materials from the garden.

On Saturday morning, with Mirjam you bundle your results, your experiences, memories in a small homemade book. A beautiful ending to the creative monastery week!
