Fabric to look at

Scholen in de Kunst presents STOF TOT KIJKEN: an inspiring exhibition full of textile art on the fourth floor of the Eemhuis. Here you will see work by students of the textile atelier and the textile courses, from novice creators to participants who have been developing their creativity for decades.

Be surprised by the versatility of textiles. From a set table made entirely of old jeans to colorful works of art on the theme of hand, executed with techniques such as embroidery, gelliplate printing and punching. Each work shows how many possibilities textiles offer. In addition to collaborative projects, each student also shows a personal masterpiece from the past year. Together they form an exhibition that shows that textile art is much more than just knitting and crochet.
