An insight into the female mind and how a woman's body is shaped, used and reclaimed. What begins as adaptation turns into resistance.

Adapting over and over again

An actress stands on the threshold of her fortieth. To keep participating, she must continue to look like twenty-four. Her body bears the marks of years of aesthetic pressure. Moving along seems the only option. So she does. Again. And again. Until she can do no more.

From moving along to fighting back

Then it tilts. In a rousing revenge fantasy, she seizes the resources of art, entertainment and social media. With fashion, live video and music, she confronts a system that thrives on female insecurity. Images, anger, music and language pile up. Everything chafes, everything moves, in search of what remains when the storm has died down.
