The Phoenician Scheme is the story of a family and a family business. Businessman Zsa-zsa Korda (Benicio del Toro), one of the richest men in Europe, appoints his only daughter Liesl, a nun, (Mia Threapleton, Kate Winslet's daughter and as impressive an actress as her mother) as heir to his estate. Last year, Wes Anderson won his first Oscar for The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. He is one of the few directors in Hollywood who does not compromise on his vision. His passion projects are invariably filled with star actors who take pay cuts to star in his films. Featuring this time an ensemble led by Benicio del Toro: Michael Cera, Bill Murray, Mia Threapleton, Riz Ahmed, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Willem Dafoe, Rupert Friend, Benedict Cumberbatch.
