Open rehearsal week KAMV

Always wanted to know what it's like to make music together in an orchestra or band? This is your chance! During the Open Rehearsal Week of the Royal Amersfoort Music Society, we open the doors wide for musicians of all levels as well as curious listeners. Whether you play clarinet, trumpet, percussion or just have a great love for music - you are welcome!

When: June 23 to 27, 2025
Where: Dirk Loogenstraat 6 in Amersfoort

Parts and rehearsal times:
- Wind band: Monday 19:45 - 22:00
For wind players of all ages with 3 or more years of experience (B level) who enjoy a broad repertoire, from classical works to modern pop music.
- PreWindz: Wednesdays 19:30 - 20:30 (only this week on Wednesdays, normally on Fridays)
Our training orchestra for beginning wind players with 1 - 2 years of experience (A level). An ideal step to gain experience in ensemble playing.
- PreBeatz: Thursday 18:45 - 19:45
Especially for young percussionists between 7 and 15 years old. Learn the basics of percussion and play together with peers.
- Percussion group: Thursday 20:00 - 22:00
For advanced percussionists who want to perform impressive and innovative shows.

Come sample the atmosphere, play along to a rehearsal or just listen in from the sidelines. Our conductor(s) and members are ready to welcome you with open arms. Need an instrument? Let us know and we'll see what's possible!
