From September 5 to 7, 2025, it's party time in downtown Amersfoort, because: the Keistadfeesten are back for the second year in a row (after as many as 15 years). A fantastic program has been set up throughout downtown Amersfoort. Don't miss it!

Bounce Brass will provide surprise performances at the Lieve Vrouwekerkhof, Groenmarkt, Varkensmarkt and Langestraat between 15:00 - 17:00.

14:00-17:00 Associations Market - Lieve Vrouwekerkhof
Discover the rich diversity of associations Amersfoort has to offer. From sports clubs to cultural and arts organizations, they are all looking for new members and enthusiastic volunteers. This is the chance to get acquainted with the various associations and perhaps find a new hobby!

Test your strength, stamina and humor in this spectacular record show, fun for young and old alike! Take part in exciting activities and win fantastic prizes from local favorites such as Hete Kolen, Boothill Saloon, Long John's Pub & Hotel, café Marktzicht and Stadscafé Amersfoort. Do you dare to take on the challenge and break one of the records?

  • The Strongest Boulder Puller: Hold a heavy boulder in the air for as long as possible.
  • The Hungriest: Eat 3 Everard Meyster pretzels and whistle as fast as you can.
  • The Acrobat: Stay on the Amersfoort Bull as long as you can, holding the flag in one hand.
  • De Lieve Vrouw: Build the tallest tower with Jenga bricks.
  • The Funniest: Tell the best keynote joke on stage.

Target audience: families, groups of friends and students.

3 p.m.-5 p.m. Living History and the Boulder
Living History Foundation is going to pull a boulder into town as the kickoff of the Boulder City Festivities.

This includes Everard Meyster being "played". The parade will be musically accompanied by Show and Marching Band Juliana. The route starts at the Stadsring near the Arnhemsestraat / the Kei, and goes via the Groenmarkt and Lieve Vrouwekerkhof to the Hof. See the route here.

20:30 - 00:00 Party - Hof
Main act is not yet known. Around it, local bands and party DJs will perform.
The target audience for this event is young people and 25+.

20:30 - 00:00 Party with live music - Groenmarkt
On the Groenmarkt, the three-piece cover band Mohr & More plays covers of well-known hits from the 80's and 90's.
The target audience of this event are young people and 25+.

20.30 - 00.00 Music bingo - Lieve Vrouwekerkhof
Do you always sing along with famous guilty pleasures? Do you quickly guess which artist belongs to a hit? Dance along when The Bingo Band plays live hits. No genre is too crazy.

Stripe the hits directly off your bingo card and win furious prizes. Got a fake bingo? Then the stage and microphone are yours! Enjoy this live music fest to the fullest, dance along to the biggest catch-ups and let yourself go completely wild! If this is not going to be a party?
Target group: groups of friends.

Program Sunday ("under construction")

12:00-17:00 Clown Court on the Hof
On Sunday, Sept. 7, the Hof will again be transformed into a children's paradise with bouncy castles and games on the square for children ages 2 to 12. All attractions will be manned by more than 40 clowns and children can also get their own makeup done. All attractions are free of charge.

12:00 p.m. All games and attractions are open and participation is available throughout.
1:30 p.m. Children's show, a show full of dancing, music, magic and juggling.
3:00 p.m. Children's show, a show full of dancing, music, magic and juggling.
16:30 fire act

Target audience: families with children ages 2 to 12.

15:00-17:00 Old Dutch Games - Groenmarkt
On Sunday, the Groenmarkt will be old-fashioned fun with, completely in the spirit of the Keistad festivals of yesteryear: Old Dutch games. Think of an angle shuffleboard XL, skittles, Labyrinth XL, mega shuffleboard, catching sticks and the Tower of Pisa XL.
Target group: 12 years and older.

15:00-17:30 Pub Quiz - Lieve Vrouwekerkhof
Do you like live music, fun and a challenge? Then end your weekend with Quiz on Tour's outdoor pub quiz, a musical and brain tickling quiz. Join us between 3 and 5:30 p.m. for an afternoon of fun, brainteasers and live music. And, of course, you get to sing along!
