They are not sweet women; niceness is reserved for those who live in peace and wealth life. But they never give up, right through the stress and grief they keep standing. Under their hard shell and right through injustice, they preserve their humanity With a courage that we find it hard to imagine. The story
The continent is in a never-ending war. Every bit of land, food, water, brandstof and even shade is being fought over. In this unstable world, where war keeps turning everything upside down, Mother Courage (Tamar van den Dop) travels with her three young adult children. Trade is her only survival strategy. So she sells everything she needs: from weapons to food, from boots to beer. Fervently, she fights to keep her family together. Whatever the cost.
