Girls Won't Be Girls

We are breaking through cubicles, closed doors and glass ceilings. Yet not all opportunities are equal for all. We tore ourselves loose from the corset, but the strings remained mostly in other hands. How do we stay strong together? How do we write the story of our shared future together?

Girls Won't Be Girls is the place where we come together to finally catch our breath, look at each other and feel what femininity means to each of us-or to stretch all those ideas.

Every performance, eight changing performers (v/x/m) bring a spectacular ode to femininity in all its forms. Music, dance, cabaret, stories and poetry will move you to tears, make you roll off your chair laughing, or keep you chatting for days to come.

Tip: bring your activist grandmother, your curious friend or favorite adolescent.
